CPR Customer Gets His Kicks Along Route 66 in His ’66 Cadillac
Meet Bert and his ’66 ‘vert. While not a 1966 Cadillac restoration project, his story is a wonderful example of the important maintenance and repair work performed by CPR. Bert’s been planning the cross-country trip of a lifetime out to, and then along, historic Route 66 all the way to its terminus in Santa Monica, CA.
However, his careful planning included a visit to Cadillac Parts & Restoration for important maintenance and repair to prepare for what turned out to be a trouble-free adventure. While his beloved classic was at CPR we also refreshed the cosmetics so the car would look as nice as it ran. Read about the trip in his 1966 Cadillac.
Best in Show for our 1958 Eldorado Seville at the Cadillac & LaSalle Grand National Meet
After the meticulous judging was over at the Cadillac & LaSalle Club’s 2015 Grand National meet, the 1958 Cadillac Eldorado Seville owned and restored by Cadillac Parts & Restoration was awarded Best of Show (post-war) and First Place – Senior.
CPR has a long tradition of success at the Grand National meets and last year at Lake George, the three of our Cadillac restorations were entered for judging and all three took home a first-place award in their respective class. This year’s Best in Show award is as good as it gets considering the competition includes the very finest classic Cadillacs in the nation. See pics below. Dating back to our days as FEN Enterprises, we’ve been members and supporters of the Cadillac & LaSalle Club and its affiliated chapters and regions. If you see us at a Grand National meet, or any other event, be sure to say hello.
A True Unicorn SOLD! by CPR – 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham
With just four hundred of these over-the-top luxurious Eldorado Broughams hand-built for 1957, this running, driving unicorn is a prized acquisition opportunity for the experienced classic Cadillac connoisseur.
It was the most expensive American luxury car of its day selling for just north of $13,000 (approximately $120,000 today), Cadillac sold these at a significant loss all in order to showcase their status as the Standard of the World. Produced during the American automotive Golden Era, these historical vehicles must be seen up close to truly appreciate them.
CPR Customer Featured in the Cadillac & LaSalle Club Self-Starter
In the February 2020 issue of the Self-Starter magazine, Cadillac & LaSalle Club members werepresented a fantastic article submitted by our customer, Bill Renda. Bill owns a beautiful 1963 Cadillac Series 62 convertible that he brings to our Cadillac restoration facility for some restoration work along with maintenance and repair.
In his article, he writes candidly about his passion for Cadillac’s Standard of the World luxury, deep personal tragedy, and a re-awakening spurred on by his purchase of his ’63 Cad. It’s a moving article that most classic car owners can relate to. Read about Bill and his 1963 Cadillac.
